Privacy Policy

Uplift Communities, LLC

Effective: June 11, 2026

Uplift Communities, LLC (“Uplift Communities,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates upliftcommunities.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and what choices you have. We are committed to handling your information responsibly.

1. Information We Collect

A. Contact Form Submissions

When you submit the contact form at /contact, we collect the following fields:

  • Name (required) — to address you in our response
  • Email address (required) — to reply to your inquiry
  • Phone number (optional) — if you prefer a call-back
  • Organization (optional) — to understand your institutional context
  • Audience type — e.g., participant, school, government agency, funder, employer
  • Area of interest — the program or service you are inquiring about
  • Timeline — how soon you need to connect
  • Message — the details of your inquiry

Submissions are handled in two ways:

  1. Email delivery via Resend: Your submission is delivered by email through our email service provider, Resend, to our team inbox (team@upliftcommunities.com) so staff can respond promptly.
  2. Lead storage: Your submission is also stored in our internal lead-management system (a private database table) so that our team can track and follow up on inquiries over time. This data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

B. Newsletter

We offer an email newsletter — Operator Insights — for operators, funders, and community partners interested in workforce development and program updates. When you subscribe via the footer form or the /subscribe page, we collect your email address — the only field — and store it in an audience managed by our email service provider, Resend. This information is used solely to send operator insights and program updates. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored promptly.

C. Automatic Technical Data

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard server log data — including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — for security and performance purposes. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and connect you with the right program or team member
  • To follow up on partnership, sponsorship, or enrollment discussions
  • To send program updates or newsletters you have opted into
  • To maintain records of institutional and individual inquiries for operational continuity
  • To improve the Site and our services based on the types of inquiries we receive

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
  • We do not use your information for third-party advertising or behavioral targeting.
  • We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies or tracking pixels (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) on this Site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

4. Cookies and Tracking

This Site does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking technologies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set functional or session-level cookies necessary for website operation. We do not set any first-party cookies for marketing or analytics purposes at this time.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and lead records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries and maintain business continuity — generally up to three years. If you would like your information removed from our system, please contact us using the information below and we will honor your request within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children's Privacy

This Site is designed for adults, institutional contacts, funders, and program partners — not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this Site, please contact us immediately and we will remove it.

7. Third-Party Links

This Site may link to external websites (such as theiha.org, social media platforms, or partner organizations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting personal information.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information from our systems
  • Unsubscribe from any email communications we send you

We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
